FOR WEBSITES HOSTED WITH US
When your website is hosted with The Creative Den, daily backups are retained for up to 30 days.
This provides an additional safeguard against accidental changes, technical problems and data loss.
If something goes wrong, we can investigate restoring your website from an available backup, helping you return to an earlier version where possible.
If your website is affected by malware or unauthorised access, we can assess the problem and check whether a suitable backup is available.
Where a clean backup exists, restoring an earlier version may form part of the recovery process. However, restoring a backup does not necessarily resolve the underlying security issue, so additional investigation and remedial work may be required.
Please note: Restoring a backup can remove website changes, customer orders, enquiries or other information added after the selected backup date. Recovery options depend on the backups available and the nature of the problem. Hacked-site recovery is not guaranteed.

No. Website hosting is a separate service. If your website is hosted with The Creative Den, daily backups with up to 30 days of retention are included as part of your hosting arrangements.
We can review WordPress websites created by other developers and advise whether we're able to take over their maintenance. Some websites may require initial remedial work before a plan can begin.
Regular updates and security checks can reduce certain risks, but no maintenance service can guarantee that a website will never be compromised.
We'll investigate issues identified in connection with our maintenance work. The solution will depend on the cause, the website's existing configuration and whether additional development or third-party assistance is required.
Our Business plan includes up to 30 minutes of small content changes per month, while Ecommerce includes up to 60 minutes. Essential does not include content changes. Larger changes can be quoted separately.
Daily backups with up to 30 days of retention are provided for websites hosted with The Creative Den. Websites hosted elsewhere depend on their own hosting provider's backup arrangements.
We can assess the issue and investigate possible recovery options, including available backups. Malware removal, vulnerability remediation and extensive recovery work may require a separate quotation.
Yes. Although we're based in the Bristol area, we can provide remote WordPress maintenance to businesses throughout the UK.
